Unique Moments Photography from Gig Harbor Washington traveled to a private residence to capture a beautiful wedding at the base of Tiger Mountain in Issaquah, Washington. It probably wasn’t a very hard decision for Rebecca and Jeff to select a wedding venue. The grooms parents own a large orchard at the base of Tiger mountain and Jeff grew up right on the property. The views of the mountain were beautiful and the outside wedding was absolutely perfect for this warm Washington summer day. Hang gliders circled from above through out the day in the quiet orchard.
When we met Rebecca she told us of her plans and we were very excited when she choose Unique Moments to photograph the wedding. The day of the wedding started off with the girls getting hair and make up done and having breakfast at her parents home. Then it was off to the grooms home at Tiger Mountain. Rebecca got dressed while Jeff waited for her in the apple orchard for their first look. After a very romantic and private moment with Jeff, It was Rebecca’s fathers turn to have a first look with his daughter in her wedding dress. Emotions ran very high as the father and daughter got to have some private time before the ceremony started. We Love this when we have father daughter first looks. Weddings are pretty tough on the dads. Its never easy to walk your daughter down the isle.
Formal photos followed the first looks and then it was photo time with the bride and grooms families. Rebecca and Jeff choose to get all the formal photos out of the way before the ceremony. The Chef showed up and got the Pigs cooking over a fire pit and he then proceeded to make everyone the best blueberry pancakes and scramblers you have ever tasted.
The ceremony started at 4PM . The ceremony was simple and beautiful at the same time. A Kiss for luck and these two lovebirds were ready to party the night away. Dinner started at 6PM so during the down time, we captured some photographs with Jeff’s Horses and mingled with the guest for an awesome happy Hour. Dinner was served and everyone was treated to some of the best BBQ pork with all the fixings you could eat. The food was off the charts good.
Speeches followed dinner and the best man stole the show with a no holds barred speech that was performed to a rap song that left everyone in tears with laughter. Honestly, one of the best speeches I have ever seen. Exceptional job did not do it justice. The couple cut a cake and had their first dance as husband and wife. That was also followed by the father daughter dances and a Mom son dance.
Everyone danced the night away and had an awesome time. This was a really nice family wedding with awesome families and friends all motivated to help Rebecca and Jeff start their life together. It was truly an Honor to be a part of this fantastic wedding. We had a blast. This was truly a remarkable day for these families and Rebeca and Jeff.
