Trophy Lake Golf Club wedding Port Orchard Wa 98376

Unique Moments Photography traveled to the Trophy lake Golf and Casting club in Port Orchard to capture Carissa and Chris’ awesome wedding. When we met this couple we knew immediately that this was a wedding that we wanted to be a part of. These two are crazy in love with each other and they were combining families and relocating to our community in Gig harbor. This couple were basically mirrors of both of us.

” So glad you swiped right. I have been waiting for you my whole life”.

This said it all. We also met on line as many people do today. We also fell madly in love and we also combined a family to move forward in our lives. Talk about a perfect match. To say were excited to hear the plans was an understatement. From Carissa’s special portrait session for her future husband, to the engagement session, and now  for this wedding, this couple was a dream come true to work with. We loved their story and were honored to tell it with the photography. The results were easy to predict. These two are crazy about each other. How could we miss? Both were like kids in a candy shop every time we got them in front of a camera. Our bride was stunning and Chris just could not keep from smiling. The love they had for each other was evident in everything we did with them.

The day started off with a trip to Londons beauty salon on dock street in Tacoma. Most of the girls met early to get hair and make up done and then it was off to Trophy Lake golf club to get dressed. The staff at Trophy lake was top notch and very accommodating for everyone. After everyone got dressed it was time to head out to Hole #17 for a  “first look”  on the bridge. Carissa and Chris had a special moment together with their first look and we immediately captured the formal portraits of both of them. Then all the bridal party got together to capture formals and the family immediately followed. All formal photos were captured before the ceremony.

4 pm was quick to arrive. The ceremony started and guests, family and friends were present to watch these two exchange vows. The ceremony was beautiful. Lots of tears and nervous laughter, both sets of  parents beaming with pride and another set of parents watching from heaven as these two committed to each other. They both wrote their own vows and the vows were beautiful. But the ceremony went by with the blink of an eye and after a kiss for luck, the couple was ready to PARTY the night away with their bridal party.

The reception started off with the first dance by the bride and groom followed by one of the best taco bar dinners we have had to date. The food was off the charts. Everyone raved about the taco bar. Reception highlights included a father daughter dance, great speeches by the maid of Honor and the best man and of course the father of the bride. Cake cutting followed and before you knew it 9Pm arrived and we were tossing a bouquet and garter.

Everything about this wedding was perfect. We try to keep the image counts down to 50 for the blog posts but that was impossible for this wedding. Just too many great moments and highlights.  The venue, the couple, the families and the close personal friends made this one very very special. It was truly an honor for us to capture this wedding and we know we will see Carissa and Chris soon as we feel like we have new friends and neighbors in Gig harbor. We loved this wedding. Its was truly special from start to finish.
